Winter, Bower Woods

I showed this image to my wife, Laura Lee, and she was quite honest when she said “You’ve shot these before.” in a bored sort of tone. It’s not that she doesn’t think they are competent images, it’s just that it’s another tree image. I certainly have made many images of Bower Woods and also just of trees as a subject, and I thoroughly enjoy searching out character trees or dramatic lighting in the woods to make images.
