Seeing a Forest in the Trees

Bower Woods is full of surprises. I decided to follow a deer trail I had only ever wandered a few meters down before. Up and over a small ridge and across the frozen creek and before me lay this wonderful collection of trees that had me scrambling to find just the right arrangement. I looked from up high and down low and from left to right lining up the trunks in many subtly different possibilities! This is what I came up with after a few minutes of intensive “seeing”.
