A favourite spot for me to stop and photograph in Banff National Park is the Muleshoe Picnic Area. It’s along Highway 1A not too far (5.5km) to the west of the Banff townsite. It has a beautiful aspen grove that has almost too many options for images. I made this image from right alongside the parking area.
